Artist Statement
Greg Mettler: Camera Obscura: Annular Perspectives of Monterey County was a site-specific video installation at the Monterey Museum of Art in 2011. Monterey County is a tourist destination, but most visitors do not see the diversity that is present in the area. The structure housed a video that presented my “360 degree” observations of the place where I live. Please read the Artist Statement for more information.
